Hi there and welcome

The phone generally needs a proper restart when this issue occurs, and switching off the phone or restarting it is not enough.

Can you please remove the battery from the phone and wait 5 minutes.

Than put the battery back in, start the phone, and try to see if it finds your network.

If you still have the problem, please let me know so I can assist you further.

Thank you

Thanks George,

Than the operating system on the phone is corrupted and will need to be reoladed.

This is going to delete all data and return the phone to new, but there is no way to avoid this sorry.

The process to do this is as follows.

On the phone, go to Settings, Privacy, Factory Data Reset, Reset Phone, Erase Everything.

Once it has completed, it will start up and appear like it did when you first received the phone.

You will than be able to scan and connect to wifi networks again.

If you have any difficulties, please let me know so I can assist you further.

Thank you
