yes

Expert:  Richard replied 3 years ago.
ok, then it is likely the SIM card has faulted Mick.

Do you have a spare SIM card to confirm this?

Customer: replied 3 years ago.

any sim card

Expert:  Richard replied 3 years ago.
yes, doesnt matter, just one that works in another phone please Mick

Customer: replied 3 years ago.

still the same blocked

Expert:  Richard replied 3 years ago.
ok, then either the SIM port has faulted on the phone, or the firmware.

To confirm this, we need to do a reset of the firmware.

This is going to delete all data from the phone and return it to new, but there is no avoiding this.

To do this, please do the following

1. Turn the power off. Remove and replace battery.
2. Press and Hold the Home and Power button.
3. When the start up screen show, release all the buttons.
4. Use the Volume Up/Down button to navigate to "wipe data/factory reset"
5. Select "wipe data/factory reset"
6. Select "Yes -- delete all user data"
* Allow several minutes for the factory data reset process to complete.
7. Select "reboot system now"
* Allow several minutes for the reboot process to complete.

Once done, tell me if it now starts and allows you to make calls please Mick

Thank you
