Hi! My name is XXXXX XXXXX I will be assisting you. Let's get started!

Did you sign into the Kindle application using the Amazon account that you used to purchase the books?

no

Expert:  Josh replied 3 years ago.
That is the problem.

You will need to sign into the same Amazon account that you used to purchase the books from so that you can view all the books.
Customer: replied 3 years ago.

how do I do that

Let's remove the application and download it again then when prompted sign into your Amazon account that you used to purchase...

  1. From the home screen, select the applications tab (located at the bottom of the display).
  2. Select Settings.
  3. Select Applications.
  4. Select Manage applications.
  5. From the All tab, select Kindle
  6. Select Uninstall.

Does not have an application tab at the bottom of the screen. It does have an app tab at the right hand corner, but it only shows the apps

Expert:  Josh replied 3 years ago.
Are you able to reach Settings? If yes, follow from that step
Customer: replied 3 years ago.

Have uninstalled through setting

Expert:  Josh replied 3 years ago.
Great!

Now please download the Kindle application again and when prompted sign into your Amazon account that you purchased the books from

Go to Menu > Settings > Applications > Manage applications > All > Play Store > Clear cache

Now try accessing the Google Play Store

It still says google play store has stopped

Expert:  Josh replied 3 years ago.
Okay do these steps then reboot the tablet and try again...

Settings > Applications > Manage Applications; select "Play Store" under the "All" tab/filter, and touch "Uninstall updates"

Menu > Settings > Applications > Manage applications > All > Download manager > Clear cache and Clear data

Menu > Settings > Applications > Manage applications > All > Google Services Framework > Clear cache and Clear data

Now reboot and try again
