Look under all for Google Services Framework

On your computer, go to www.gmail.com

Sign in with the same account you used when setting up the phone.

Click on Gmail, select contacts and tell me if you see the contacts there please from the phone.

Tap ‘Settings'
Choose ‘Backup and Reset'
Hit ‘Factory Data Reset'
Select ‘Reset Device'
Tap ‘Erase Everything'

Let this complete, then setup the phone again like you did when you first received it and tell me please if you still have the problem.

phone is back on but how do i know it wont just turn itself off which has been the problem the phone turning off when it likes.have you cured this

We are ruling out the firmware as the issue.

We now know that if it turns off again, the mainboard in the phone is faulting and will require the phone to be replaced, being a hardware problem.

What we have done is ruled out software as the cause, so if this happens again, you know you will need to return the phone to have it replaced sorry.
