AS I SAID IN MY ORIGINAL E-MAIL I CANNOT LOG ON TO KIK AND HAVE DELEATED IT FROM MY PHONE AND REINSTALLED BUT MAKES NO DIFFERENCE I STILL KEEP GETTING THE SAME MESSAGE THAT IT IS TAKING TOO LONG PLEASE TRY AGAIN LATER

Are you trying to setup Email on your phone?

On your computer, can you log into your account?

If yes for both questions, you might want to download K-9 Mail app and use this app to setup your Kik email account.

Still not working with K-9 Mail? Try to check with email provider for server name and port number. I can help you setup your email account with those info.

Please remove the Email account on your S3 account as follows:

  1. Go to Email.
  2. Tap Menu and go to Accounts.
  3. Tap and HOLD your email address.
  4. Select Remove account.
  5. When removed, tap Menu button and select Add account.
  6. Enter FULL email address and password.
  7. Tap Manual Setup.
  8. Select IMAP account.
  9. Enter imap.tools.sky.com as incoming server. Port 993.
  10. Enter FULL email address and password ***** User name and password.
  11. Check SSL box.
  12. Next enter stmp.tools.sky.com as outgoing server. Port 465.
  13. Enter FULL email address and password ***** User name and password.
  14. Check SSL box.
  15. Test to see if you can send your emails.

Thanks did as you suggested and e-mails all seem ok but when I try to try to set up an account on KIK I still get the message that it is taking too long try again later

wish I had never tried this but now I have its totally bugging me

I have found KIK. Is it a Messaging app/service?

If yes, we can try to reset KIK app and test again.

Go to Apps->More->Application Manager. On the list, select KIK and tap Force Stop and Clear data.

When done, go back home screen and open KIK app. See if you can use it.

If that did not work, go back to Settings->More->Application Manager. Tap KIK and select Uninstall option. Confirm to uninstall.

Next power off your phone. Turn phone back on and go back to Play Store to download KIK again. See if you can log into your KIK account now. Make sure your phone is connected to wifi or has internet data.

Did you try to test KIK with another device such as another Android phone or Android tablet?

Also, can you see if you can log into your KIK account using KIK website?

We can try to Factory Reset your phone and download KIK app and test again.

First you need to Backup your phone to computer using Kies. Do not have Kies installed? Go to www.samsung.com/us/Kies and download Kies 2.6. After installed, open Kies. Connect your phone to computer and do a FULL Backup.

Then Factory reset your phone as follows:

  1. Go to Settings
  2. Select Backup & Reset
  3. Select Factory data reset
  4. Select Reset phone
  5. Select Erase everything
  6. Your phone will reset which will take about 2-3 minutes.
  7. Set it up again.
  8. Download your KIK apps back and see if you can log into your account and use it.

Now connect your phone to computer and open Kies. Run a Restore. Select the Backup we did to reset your phone. All data will be restored to your phone.
