is it the Kies which you are not able to download and install.
AS I SAID IN MY ORIGINAL E-MAIL I CANNOT LOG ON TO KIK AND HAVE DELEATED IT FROM MY PHONE AND REINSTALLED BUT MAKES NO DIFFERENCE I STILL KEEP GETTING THE SAME MESSAGE THAT IT IS TAKING TOO LONG PLEASE TRY AGAIN LATER

Thanks did as you suggested and e-mails all seem ok but when I try to try to set up an account on KIK I still get the message that it is taking too long try again later
wish I had never tried this but now I have its totally bugging me

First you need to Backup your phone to computer using Kies. Do not have Kies installed? Go to www.samsung.com/us/Kies and download Kies 2.6. After installed, open Kies. Connect your phone to computer and do a FULL Backup.Then Factory reset your phone as follows:
Now connect your phone to computer and open Kies. Run a Restore. Select the Backup we did to reset your phone. All data will be restored to your phone.
