when are you prompted to enter a pin number?

JACUSTOMER-x6ogjkqh- :

When asked to enter a pin number which I do not have or did put one into it, when I went to a place that unlocks tablets they said that someone may have hacked into it and put this lock on it. I have tried various combinations of pin numbers but it keeps telling me to retry
