We can reset the sound settings and What's app settings.
First go to Settings->Application Manager->All (Swipe from left to right to All list).
Select What's app on the list.
Tap Force Stop and clear cache.
Next go back to All list.
Select Media Storage and tap Clear data.
Go back to All list again.
Select Google Services Framework and tap Clear data.
When done, press Power for 2 seconds and select Restart.
Test your issues with Email and What's App.
