I have been given a Samsung Galaxy SIII mini GT-18190N and

Resolved Question:

I have been given a Samsung Galaxy SIII mini GT-18190N and when I switch it on it asks for a phone pin code there is no sim inside. How do I get the pin to unlock the phone. The IMEI no; is 35507 4/05/730408/7 ser.no; 1D25M97NL.
The person who originally had the phone and passed it on to me has died can you help please.

The only way to unlock the phone is to perform the procedure that will delete pin code, but that procedure will also delete data stored on internal memory. Data on memory card (if memory card is inserted such as music and pictures) will not be affected.

To unlock your phone please follow the steps below:
To perform factory/hard reset please follow those steps:
1. Turn the power off. Remove and replace battery.
2. Press and Hold the Volume Up, Home and Power button.
3. When the start up screen show, release all the buttons.
4. Use the Volume Up/Down button to navigate to "wipe data/factory reset"
5. Select "wipe data/factory reset"
6. Select "Yes -- delete all user data"
* Allow several minutes for the factory data reset process to complete.
7. Select "reboot system now"
* Allow several minutes for the reboot process to complete.
