I have a samsung s3 mini, yesterday i changed the screen lock

Resolved Question:

I have a samsung s3 mini, yesterday i changed the screen lock code and since then i have not been able to access the screen. It has not locked the sim as i am using it on another phone now and i have tried using both the new code and the old. I have all the model info etc

The only way to unlock your phone will be to perform procedure that will delete it, but that procedure will also delete data from your internal memory. Memory card will not be affected.

Yes i thought that might be the case my sim is seperated so all those bits are ok

Thank you reply.
To unlock your phone, you will have to perform procedure known as factory/hard reset of the device.
To perform factory/hard reset please follow those steps:
1. Turn the power off. Remove and replace battery. Remove memory card if you have it.
2. Press and Hold the Volume Up, Home and Power button.
3. When the start up screen show, release all the buttons.
4. Use the Volume Up/Down button to navigate to "wipe data/factory reset"
5. Select "wipe data/factory reset"
6. Select "Yes -- delete all user data"
* Allow several minutes factory data reset process to complete.
7. Select "reboot system now"
* Allow several minutes reboot process to complete.
