Got a Samsung g5 mini. Got an app on that records my phone conversation but when playing back con hear other person very load but can hardly here me. Had this app on my g3 mini and it worked great. Thanks

It is call recorder by lovekara. That's the one that worked with my s3. When it didn't work tried a number of others automatic call recorder by appliqato. Call recorder by clever mobile. And a few more. One was try then pay that didn't work. It's just I need to record conversation with my son as he has a small business and if he wants me to send an email or anything I record it so I can do it later instead of writing it down I can just listen to it

Different batches of this phone can have issues with allowing call recording apps proper access to the sound.
First, I want you to install Galaxy Call Recorder as this was made to try to overcome this issue.

I did put this on in Oct last year just after I got the new phone, but it was jusst the same. I had a few emails back and forth from them and eventually they told me to go to Samsung. But as Samsung do not acknowledge or support apps there only advice was to do what I mentioned before. I will put the app back on again and try it out and email you back if it is any better after I did what Samsung said

Put both Galaxy on and the boldbeast. Both are the same as the other . Can hear playbacks a bit better through headphones as long as volume turned up fully but when the other person is speaking it like shouting down your ears.

ok, I want to rule out an issue with the firmware via a reset of the phone.
Before we do this, do you need to backup any data from the phone as this will remove all data?

only did a reset a few weeks ago but if you want me to do another will do so

ok, now install Kies from the link below, onto your computer
http://www.samsung.com/us/kies/
Once installed, connect the phone to the computer, open Kies and install any updates phone.

Never updated by kies before what do l do it is connected now

When you connect it you see the Update Firmware button on the first page in Kies.
Click on that please and it will then check install any updates to the phone.
I can also do these steps , and have made a request via Additional Services. This is optional, and if you choose to do this, I can, with your permission, remote into your computer while you watch and do all these steps (and deal with any problems that arise during them) . Or if you do not choose to take this service, we can continue here. This is no problem at all. Just let me know please.

Do the firmware download again and it should then ask you to install it.

ok cannot find how to do the firmwave download again as last time it just came up this time when I connected to Kies it didn't

You will have the button on the main pagge in Kies which says check .
You need to click that button please.
Do you still see it? Its the page that opens when you connect the phone.

Now, disconnect the phone and restart it.
Then install the app Boldbeast recorder.

ok done and spoke to a friend. It is a bit better but it still has to be on full volume and I am still a lot quieter than them.

Thanks very much . Will see how it goes on Just tried listening to it through the headphones and it's just a fraction better I think but will keep that app on.
