so when you enter you password ***** you get an incorrect password *****
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I get sign in failed
Expert:  michelleclive replied 1 year ago.
ok..are you able to sign in to hotmail on your computerhave you tried that
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I have and it says account and password *****'t match
Expert:  michelleclive replied 1 year ago.
Hotmail offers very limited options for password ***** will list down all the options available that you may try one by one If you have a phone tied to the account, you can try to verify your account with a mobile number (only available in limited markets at this time)http://explore.live.com/windows-live-sign-in-account-temporarily-blocked-ui If the above does not work, try the below Try to login to your account at http://www.live.com.on the top right, click on your login name and then go to Account option.over here you need to change your password ***** security question. Please ensure this time you use a complex password ***** is not easy to be cracked by someone elseif however, you are unable to access your account then try the belowtry a password ***** by opening one of the below linkshttps://account.live.com/ResetPassword.aspxorhttps://windowslivehelp.com/PasswordReset.aspxfill in the information and hotmail team will take time from 48 hours minimum to a week's time to recover your password
Expert:  michelleclive replied 1 year ago.
however, in case you do not get a response then the last option would be to send an email to***@******.*** to mention your email id, password, your name, phone address details, recently mailed contacts details etcthe more info you provide the better so that hotmail team can be sure that you are the actual owner of this mailonce you send in the mail, you need to wait for the hotmail team's response.in case you have to adopt the last step, them my suggestion would be to also switch over to an alternate email with yahoo, gmail, aol etc as per your choice for the time that hotmail team processes your request
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Thank you. I will try those
Expert:  michelleclive replied 1 year ago.
yes please..this is the standard process that needs to be followed for hotmail password ***** me know if you have any questions
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
So to clarify that is different to changing the server password?
Expert:  michelleclive replied 1 year ago.
this resets the password...once the password ***** reset you will automatically get the option to change it
