Resolved Question:

I have a samsung tablet 10.1 and a newly purchased samsung S6 and cannot get S planner to sync with each other.

How exactly are you trying to synch the S Planner Steve? Via which program?

ok, I think your using the inbuilt calendar Steve, not the Google one as the google one syncs automatically.
Open the Calendar, then press menu, setting, calendars and make sure the Gmail one is checked.
Make sure you do this on both devices and both are with the same @gmail.com email account.
