Thank you for your question, my name is ***** ***** I look forward to assisting you.
Please note, a rating is only needed when we are finished.
To do this, Go to Settings- application setting - call - all call - auto reject - reject list-
click option and remove the number from reject list
Let me know the results please
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
that makes sense until i get to reject list...selecting reject list goes to -unknown
Expert:  Richard replied 1 year ago.
you mean an entry in the reject list is unknown?
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I select reject list and then auto reject and a box to select/unselect 'unknown' is the option
Expert:  Richard replied 1 year ago.
ok, looks like the firmware has crashed
Can you remove the battery to the phone.
Wait 5 minutes, connect the battery and turn on the Phone and tell me if you can now get to the list please.
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
the battery is out. I did this once before and there was a solution by going through the menu, I found the answer online (free!)
Silly me didn't write it down. Or how I blocked accidentally!!
Expert:  Richard replied 1 year ago.
Its the process I am giving you, there is only one way to remove blocked numbers via the block list, which for you is giving an unknown error now.
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
OK, battery in. Just got to phone contact to ask him to text me.....
Expert:  Richard replied 1 year ago.
First try to do my instructions again to remove him from the block list as we havent been able to access the list yet
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
still no list, same sequence ending 'unknown'...
Expert:  Richard replied 1 year ago.
ok, this is a fault with the firmware.
Go to the actual contact in your contacts list. You see it there?
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
yes
Expert:  Richard replied 1 year ago.
ok, You should see there that the contact is blocked. Remove the block there please, as its not showing you the whole list so we need to try to do it via the contact itself.
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
there is no indication i can see that shows the contact is blocked.....
Expert:  Richard replied 1 year ago.
ok, delete the contact as this will then remove it, then have them text you please.
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
no text recieved
Expert:  Richard replied 1 year ago.
If you go to the reject list now, is it still showing unknown?
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
could do with getting on out to do xmas food shop Richard...if we dont solve this do I get my£11 returned??????
Expert:  Richard replied 1 year ago.
ok, but why then wait 20 minutes to respond?
I asked you sometime ago
If you go to the reject list now, is it still showing unknown?
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
yes it is still showing unknown. As I replied yes twice before.
Expert:  Richard replied 1 year ago.
The replies never came here sorry, you can scroll up and see this.
you will then need to reset the phone which will reload the firmware as it is not displaying the rejection list, so we cannot remove numbers from it.
This will remove all data from the phone and return it to new, but this cannot be avoided.
To do the reset type in *2767*3855#
This will run the reset, returning the phone to new, so both the rejection list will be cleared and it should then be accessible.
Let me know the results please
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
before i do this will contacts saved on the SIM be safe?
Expert:  Richard replied 1 year ago.
Contacts on the SIM will be safe, it is the data on the phone that's removed.
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
ok ta.
Expert:  Richard replied 1 year ago.
Your welcome
Let me know the results please
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
do i type the reset as a contact?
Expert:  Richard replied 1 year ago.
No, just from the home screen on the phone, start typing the code please.
you can see how it works here

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
he is just pulling over to park...
Expert:  Richard replied 1 year ago.
ok
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
yippeee! it has worked! Many thanks for your help Richard. Any tips as to how not to block by accident?
Expert:  Richard replied 1 year ago.
Just be careful when using the phone and always see what your doing.
But this was harder then it should have been as the firmware had faulted and we needed to install it again, normally Settings- application setting - call - all call - auto reject - reject list-
click option and remove the number from reject list will work for you.
If you would like any additional information or assistance, please do not hesitate to let me know.
And if you can take a second to rate my service by clicking one of the stars at the top of the screen then submit, that would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you
