Hi there and welcomeJust to check, your pressing down on a widget on one of the home pages and then dragging them to the trash bin?Not via the widgets page, but from one of the home pages?
Customer: replied 11 months ago.
using widgets page
Expert:  Richard replied 11 months ago.
You cannot remove them from there, you need to actually uninstall them (if they are not built in apps)Which widget(s) are you having problems removing?
Customer: replied 11 months ago.
contact and also a book
Expert:  Richard replied 11 months ago.
Thanks, ***** ***** built in so you cannot remove them, they are part of the firmware. This is why they will not delete
Customer: replied 11 months ago.
how can I remove them from screen if no longer required
Expert:  Richard replied 11 months ago.
You cannot remove them from the widgets page as thats the page that lists the widgets. Its not your home page.And from the home page these are fixed, Samsung adds these ones as fixed icons. Most you can remove, including all the ones you download, but not these ones.
Customer: replied 11 months ago.
why is there a bin option and uninstall option on the widgets page then
Expert:  Richard replied 11 months ago.
For other widgets, that can be removed. Most you can remove and you use the trash to do this, including all the ones you download, but not these ones.
