Hello there and welcome to Just Answer. My name is ***** ***** I'll do my best to assist you today.

Expert:  HandyAndy77 replied 3 months ago.

Now I just want to clarify, why are you trying to clear teh cache? Is the calendar app behaving strangely or are you trying to remove events from the calendar?

Expert:  HandyAndy77 replied 3 months ago.

In the meantime I'll leave the instructions for clearing the cache.

First go to "Settings".

Next find the entry for "Applications" or "Application Manager". Something like that.

Once in there, find the calendar application and click it.

Now depending on your version of android this next step varies. Either the clear cache button will be present on the current page your on, OR you may have to click the "Storage" button, and then you'll see it there.

Customer: replied 3 months ago.
I am getting the error "Cannot review due to an issue in Outlook. Please check and try again"
Customer: replied 3 months ago.
Cannot retrieve folder info due to issue in outlook
Customer: replied 3 months ago.
This happens when I select sync with outlook
Expert:  HandyAndy77 replied 3 months ago.

Ok. Sounds exactly like that thread you sent me. Good work finding that.

So were you able to clear the cache on your calendar app?

Customer: replied 3 months ago.
but still getting same error.I don't know how to remove the battery, so was unable to do that step. But did turn off and on the phone
Expert:  HandyAndy77 replied 3 months ago.

Yes, unfortunately many android phones no longer allow the battery to be easily removed anymore. Give me a moment. Seeing what else we can try.

Expert:  HandyAndy77 replied 3 months ago.

What version of windows is the computer running?

Customer: replied 3 months ago.
windows 10 home
Expert:  HandyAndy77 replied 3 months ago.

Which calendar app are you using on the phone? The one it came with or a different one?

Expert:  HandyAndy77 replied 3 months ago.

Also, what email address are you using with outlook?

Customer: replied 3 months ago.
I am trying to use the one it came with. Eventually I will switch to business calendar, but that uses the info from the native calendar.
Expert:  HandyAndy77 replied 3 months ago.

So S Planner is the default correct?
