Hi There~
My name is ***** ***** I am here to help with your question.
On today's market, your set of Paradise Lost by Milton would sell for a high of $3500 - $4000.

I am in England so would the price make a difference?

Also the twelve books are contained in one book.

It is worn and the spine has no cover on it anymore. It was used as a working book as it has some pen marks on it. Would all this make a very big difference to the value?

Regards

Hi Margaret,
The estimate I provided was in US Dollars, the current currency conversion rate equals, 2253GBP - 2575GBP.
Yes, I am familiar with this being a folio, or all in one volume.
With the condition issues, expect a high of 1500GBP - 2000GBP.
