Resolved Question:

I have a set of six plates made by Barratts of Staffordshire. They are Porkers plates with a pig on the front. Each one has one of the following written on them
Leave your figs- stick with pigs
Drink less hops-Choose pork chops
Preserve the jam- Try more ham
Cast off salmon-Go for gammon
Don't be taken-Ask for Bacon
Get the point-Choose ham joint
They are in mint condition. Is there any value in them?

This is a set of six plates made by Barratt's of Burslem, Staffordshire (previously Gater Hall & Co, renamed Barratt's in 1943) in the 1960's and 70's.These pork plates have a current value of 35GBP each or 210GBP for the set. The price you saw on Ebay was a bit high for this type of item.It is important for you to click the stars after you have read this answer, thank you!
