Hello and welcome! My name is Doris.
I have been an antiques and art collector as well as a dealer and appraiser for over 56 years.
I will be pleased to help you. Please know I do not send pop-ups.

Photos are almost always required to give an accurate assessment.

Please send a photo of the plate?

Can you send me a photo of the marks on the bottom?

You may need to use the macro function (flower icon) of your camera to get a good clear photo of the marks.

If you cannot get a good photo, then sketch the marks and take a photo of the sketch.

To send photos you may use the "add files" in the blue box link on your reply page or the "paper clip" found in the toolbar you see on your reply page.
Please do not send in ZIP format. The jpg or jpeg format works best.

An explanation of this method can be found here:

My computer doesn`t enable me to send photos. It just says REGINA IRONWARE in green print. Below that is a green dragonlike icon

The design in a weavelike rim to plate which is nearly 10 inches in diameter. It has a pink rose to centre with leaves, buds and pale purple/blue and yellow flowers. Sorry I can`t give any more information

See the following image,

Tell me if this is your pattern?

What size is your plate?

Is there a unicorn in the marks on the bottom?

Does the mark say just "England" or "Made in England"?

Customer: replied 9 months ago.
Hi
Sorry for delay in responding-I had to go out urgently. The pattern of the rose is similar but slightly paler pink with more buds and with added flowers (violet type flowers in a purplish-blue and also pale yellow). The plate is nearly 10 inches in diameter. The mark on the bottom is more like a unicorn lying down with head upraised-rather than dragonlike as I previously said. The mark says "England" just underneath where it says Wedgwood & Co.Ltd.

Thank you for your patience.

Your Wedgwood mark dates 1965-1980 and indicates the Regina Ironstone plate was made in the Tunstall, Staffordshire factory.

From my research I was able to determine that your 10" plate has an current estimated retail value of $35-45 assuming good condition and depending on sale geographic location.

In general, a private seller to a dealer, via consignment or at auction can expect 30-50% of estimated retail value.

Insurance replacement values are usually about 20% more than retail values.

I hope I have helped you.
