HI

The most likely cause is the lid switch being bad. To access it remove two screws from the bottom front corners of the console, flip it up and out of the way, remove two brass clips holding the top panel to the rear panel by prying backwards, remove he three wire plug fro the center rear top, now pull the cabinet totally off. The switch is under the top panel REVERSE PROCEDURE TO REASSEMBLE
