BLACK AND DECKER 24-VOLT RECHARG. LAWN MOWER STOPPED LAST YEAR WHILE IN HEAVY GRASS. Had started before after such occurrences but this time hasn't started since. Battery says has full charge (green dot light at charger input). Any ideas?

Yes, you need to open up the motor if you can get to the brushes on the motor. They probably got hung up or need to be replaced. Sometimes a good 'tap' on the motor can free a stuck brush in the holder.
