close but whirlpool models begin with a series of letters then numbers ( LT 134890 is an example)

the single most common cause of this is the switch shown below. to access it remove the two screws at the front lower corners of the console, flip the console up and out of the way, remove two brass clips at the rear corners of the top panel by prying backwards, remove the three wire plug at the center rear of the top panel,now pull the entire cabinet off and the switch is under the top panel. thanks
