KENMORE Power Miser 6Model #:NNN-NN-NNNN- 40g cap. - Serial #: C00124364 - Purchased/installed 1/1/2000We just bought the home, and I had the gas turned on a few days ago. The technicXXXXX XXXXXt the pilot, and before I left that day, hot water was indeed being produced.A few days later when I returned to continue working, the pressure relief valve was leaking terribly, with a half-inch of standing water in the utility room.I turned off the water and the gas, drained the tank, re-flushed the tank, and drained it again. I then turned the water back on, lit the pilot, and set the temp on Low-Medium.Several minutes later the valve was leaking again. Is the valve my problem?
