I have a GE wall oven model # XXXXX serial #GR601820Q, purchased from Sears in 2008. The front control panel warps and bubbles. Has been replaced twice; problem continues. Surely there is a solution. I can't find it. My oven is an embarrassment. Customer
Optional Information: Make: GE wall oven Model: JTP30WM1WW Already Tried: replace the control panel. twice.
Hello I'm Larry and thank you for using this service. I'll be helping you with your problem today.when you replace it do you peel off the protective coating from the panel
replacement was done by a repairman. I assume so....
if it was then you will need to replace the oven door gasket, your loosening heat and its overheating the panel
this has been an ongoing problem. is there a way for me to contact GE directly? the repair people have replaced the control panel and re-calibrated the thermostat. now you're saying it may be the gasket. In the meantime, I've never cleaned my oven for fear of the heat factor.
here is a list of numbers ,, thanks
