trying to replace the ignitors, so tried to unscrew the burners, but the screws holding down the burners are so baked in, that my efforts to unscrew them, broke their head off, leaving the screw body flush with the cooktop surface. Now the burner is loose and I can replace the ignitor, but I cannot screw the burners back on because the holes are filled with the broken screw neck. Please help!
Optional Information: Make: Jenn Air Model: JGC 8536ADS Already Tried: I have put WD40 etc..but the screw neck is stuck in teh hole.
hi how bad would you say that the screws are damaged
One of them is flush with surface, the other is having a very small projection above the surface, enough to get grip by a nose-plier, but the screw refuses to loosen.

yes, I do.
although I cannot drill now (wife and kids asleep!)
lol. ok what you will need to do is go to a hardware store or home depot and buy a special drill bit tyo tap it out .that is what i do when i have this problem
you mean like a Grabit or something?
