i have a ewave microwave.everything works but the glass tray carousel.the light works when you open the door,but does not work when you try to cook.

i think its just the tray not working.didnt try to cook because tray not moving
Ok then the problem is going to be the turntable motor, You can check this by taking the panel out from under the unit, pull the wire harness off the motor then run the microwave, while the unit is running test the harness with a volt meter, normally the motors work off 12 or 24v dc, look on the side of the motor to check the voltage you should be reading.If when testing the wire harness you see the correct voltage then the motor is bad. In this case take the model number to a local appliance parts supplier for a replacement.Mike
i removed the wire harness pluged the one end to the carousel motor and had two wires in an extention cord.put wires in the other end of harness motor runs and so do the lights.
Ok in that case if the motor ran then the problem is with the control board since the motor runs right off the control board. It's likely a power relay blew. In this case the control board will need to be replaced.
ok.i followed the black wire from the motor to the control board.it goes to a clip with 5 other wires.tray motor,vent motor low vent motor high hood lamp low hood lamp high.thay are all together.all work except car.motor.do you still think it is the board.

should i get another board.and if so,where.or would it be cheaper just to buy a new microwave.
