I have a Whirlpool Quiet Partner II/Model #DU1100XTPS7 and it keeps filling up with water in the bottom and eventually leaks out. I have replaced the pump and have a water inlet valve that I am going to try to replace. Are there any instructions on how to replace?
Optional Information: Make: Whirlpool Model: DU1100XTPS7 Already Tried: replaced pump and now have water inlet valve that I am going to try replacing
Hi I'm John I will help you with the problem.
Does it gradually fill up as your using the unit or fills not using the unit?
I can't find a specific common time that it fills up. Sometimes the unit fills after it has run and is full. Sometimes it fills when it has sat empty. It has also filled up when the electricity was off.
Thats a water valve problem if it fills with no Hydro to the unit.

This is the water valve for that model.
Remove the bottom front panel , turn off the Hydro and water supply and replace the water valve , it should fix the problem.
I have the part and I have removed the bottom panel as well as the incoming hose. I am uncertain what is the next step(s) in replacing the valve.
You disconnect the wires from the water valve and remove the hot water line to the valve remove the valve by removing the screws holding the valve to the d/w frame.
Now install the new valve.
if you require more assistance let me know please.
The screw heads face the floor, so I'm not sure how to get them out and they are not phillips.
Its probably a 1/4 in screw head with a Phillips as well so you can use the 1/4 in socket if you don't have a Phillips head.
The problem is not the screwdriver, it is access to the screws. There is no way to get a screwdriver in to unscrew.
You can pull the d/w out a little and tip it back to get to the screws.
