I have a Microvave made by EWAVE, (Made in Korea), Model # XXXXX Sr# XXXXX Manufactured Sept 2003, Stainless Steel inside and outside. It has suddenly started making arcing sounds as if there is a short circuit or something like that from behind the control panel. It runs ok sometimes. I have disconnected it. Are any parts available that could be replaced and make it running again ?
Hello, and thank you for using this service. I'll be helping you with your problem today. The arcing noise means that the magnetron is shorting out. This can NOT be repaired because the arc goes to the wave guide which isn't accessable and if you replace the magnetron it will just start to arc out again. You'll need to replace the microwave when you get this issue I'm afraid to say.
