yes it is a Fisher and Paykel purchased in 2000.
U3 means that the unit filled to capacity with water to soon. I can help you with this. The first thing to test is if the unit has reset itself to low water pressure. This is the most common cause of U3. To check we will need to enter setup mode. To enter setup mode, hold the Program and Eco touch switches simultaneously for 5 seconds. Once the setup mode is entered a beep is emitted and the LCD is red with ‘HP’displayed. If you see LP displayed than that is your problem. Hit the start button to switch back to HP and the power button to exit and save.
the HP is displayed and the error message comes back up after about 5 minutes of washing
Ok you will need to replace the control board in the door.
