Customer Question

Our samsung fridge rf267aars is making a loud sound. If we unplug it and replug, it stops for a few minutes then restarts the sound. Our icemaker quit a couple weeks ago but we didnt replace the 325$ part. Is this related or is something else wrong?

Response From Expert

Well the ice maker is not related to the problem you are having, does the sound continue or stop on it's own after a couple of seconds or minutes or keeps going until the unit shuts down?

We pulled the fridge out from the wall and unplugged for an hour. Upon restart the noise resumed initially. After a couple hours the noise diminished.
