i have a fisher paykel stacked drawer dishwasher. i am getting the crossed-out water fixture light after about two minutes into the cycle. i have removed the arm and the filters and replaced them. When i have run the rinse cycle on the top one (without the dishes basket) it draws water. The bottom dishwasher works. Thoughts?
Optional Information: Make: Fisher Paykel Model: DD605
Hello, and thank you for using this service. I'll be helping you with your problem today. How high is the water compared to the bottom of your dish rack when the drawer gives you the fault symbol?
There is no water in the bottom. it starts doing that beeping at 2 minutes in. i just tried to do the rinse only setting it also brought up the crossed out water spigot.
ok then that means your electronic water valve below the bottom drawer needs to be ordered and replaced. There is only 1 valve but there are 2 solenoids on the valve (one for the top and one for the bottom drawer). The solenoids fail independently which is why one drawer can continue working while the other stops getting water. Below is a video that shows you how to remove the bottom drawer so that you can access the valve in the back left corner. There is a plastic cover you need to remove once the drawer is out (on the floor in the back left corner) to see the valve.CLICK HERE FOR VIDEO
can you tell me where i can go online to order that part for a reasonable charge?
Only one place sells fisher and paykel parts that I know of. Below is a link to the part you'll need to order.CLICK HERE

Actually yes, amazingly enough it's the same part even for the DD603 model... I never knew that myself until I just looked it up.
