I have whirlpool quiet partner ii diswasher. the pots and pans, normal, light, rinse only and heated dry lights are blinking and the soak and scrub light is on. tried a number of combinations and nothing works.

Ok- you have a bad touchpad here. Whenever the control senses that a button is stuck it will flash the light above it.
