Hi, My Bosch Classic Electronic dishwasher model number SGU53E75

Customer Question

Hi, My Bosch Classic Electronic dishwasher model number SGU53E75 AU/01 has the 'Check Water' light showing. I have checked everything, as per the manual, and it has not helped. It makes a noise as though the water is draining away, and when I looked in the bottom where the filters are there is a fine jet of water spraying out. The noise is like a sucking hissing noise. It doest stop when I open the door with the power on. Is there anything else I can do before I call a technician in to look at it? Thanking you, Doris .

Hello Doris, I will try and help you today. The problem you most likely have is something is clogged in the pump and not allowing the water to drain. Instead of me trying to explain this and you not understanding what I am talking about I have included a link to an excellent video to check this. If you have water still in it you will want to get a shop vac and suck it out. This machine is fairly complicated and anything beyond this may require you to contact a service technician. If you can not do what is instructed in the video contact a service man. I hope this answered your question and bonuses are greatly appreciated.

Customer Reply

Hi , I had done all of this as I explained in my initial communication. The problem is not with the water draining, it is not filling up! I watched the video on youtube but it didn't help as I had said I had already done what was shown. Perhaps I need to get a technician to have a look at it if you cannot think of any different solution. Can you write back so I can acept and you will receive payment Thanking you.

Doris.
