i've replaced the emitter boards, the icemaker assembly and I took a heat gun to the inlet tube. I've still had no ice production over 96 hours. I took it all out and checked all the connections ~ tight and good - emitter is blinking and shuts off when I depress the flipper. these are new. Any suggestions from here...I also pulled the plug on the fridge for about 5 or so minutes...just to reset the system.I need some Ice...thought I could do it myself...now Im at a loss for ideas. Thanks,Adam

Hello my name is XXXXX XXXXX you for choosing our service. When you replaced the ice maker did you change the wire connector also?Barry
yes I replaced the wire assebly with the new one in the box - made sure they all clicked in securely and then re installed the ice maker. that didn't fix the problem so I purchased the new emitter boards and replaced those. Then I got a heat gun and de-iced the incoming water line and got the ice out of it. I then cut the power to the fridge for about 5 minutes. Last thing I tried is to pour some water in the unit and then it send new cubes down...I also think it might have worked on its own once...but now its been a week with no new cubes...did I get a lemon from the warehouse or is there another thing I can try before I have to call someone out? Oh I forgot to mention that I took all the parts out and checked connections and replaced the units again...just to be sure.

Hello I'm Larry and will be helping you so please stay on line with me until we finish, i will try not to take up to much time ,, thanksmaybe i can help ,, are you still getting water from the door?
water from the door is good - filter light is green
feel inside the icemaker and tell me if you feel any ice or water at all please
initially I had zero water in the tray...then I poured some in to try and kick start the critter. I did that earlier today..... I just felt some ice in the bottom of the teflon tray..no water.
ok thanks ,, you need to replace the water inlet valve on the back of the fridge, it has a double valve which one side is for the door and other side for the icemaker and that side has went out, you can only buy the complete valve which cost about $65 and you can get it at a local appliance parts dealer near you with your model number ,, thanks
