How does the steam and/or smoke from the stove-top and oven unit vent if the hood/fan replaced by an over-the-stove microwave with a blower but doesn't have a vent opening on the underside? Are there specific models for each circumstance?

I am asking so that I can look at it for you.
Every unit that is made has a removable silver grease screen on them if that are vent-hoods. That would be what I would look for in the pic or on the unit. The vent motor can be positioned so that it vents up and out, back and out OR through a charcoal filter and recirculated into the kitchen.
Let me know about that picture though.
