My heat indicator light on my stove won't go out. My burner is off, cool to the touch but has been on for over 72 hours. What needs done to get back to proper working order?
Optional Information: Make: Whirlpool accubake super capacity 465 range Model: Accubake super capacity 465 range Already Tried: Turn on and off a couple times, burner works but indicator light won't go out
Hello, and thank you for using this service. I'll be helping you with your problem today.Which heat indicator light is on all the time exactly?
Back right burner
ok and is the the indicator light that says the burner is on or the hot surface light that says the burner is still hot?
Hot surface light indicator
ok so this means that your sensor on the back right burner itself has failed. Unfortunately you can not replace just the sensor, it comes with the entire back right burner. The back right burner will need to be ordered and replaced to fix the issue.
Thanks, XXXXX XXXXX order direct from whirlpool or do I have to have a technician come out to handle?
You can order directly from whirlpool, call a technician, or if you want you can order it online with a full model number on Partselect.com or Appliancepartspros.com.
