i have a dishwasher model #TH01421598 serial #FGBD2431KF1 since June 2009 and now the water will not drain on its own. I have drained it myself, removed the glass trap, lower spray arm and self cleaning filter and nothing seems to be down there. Also the overfill protector is moving up and down freely. I'll be helping you with your problem today.You will need to uninstall your dishwasher and remove the drain pump to check for any blockage in the drain pump that would stop the impeller from moving. If you find nothing, disconnect the drain hose and blow through it to make sure it's clear. If everything is clear, try again and see if the dishwasher will drain. How do i get to the drain pump?
You need to uninstall the dishwasher and then you can tip the dishwasher backwards and access the pump.
