I have a Kenmore Elite which is about 15 years old and when I turn it on, the machine is in washing cycle while the water is flowing in, and when the cycle is completely done, the clothes are still soaking wet. Please help.
Optional Information: Make: Kenmore Model: Elite Already Tried: Tried using every cycle on the know but still the same.
Hello, and thank you for using this service. I'll be helping you with your problem today. If the unit is filling up with water during the spin cycle when it should be draining out and that's why the clothes are soaking wet, then that means your main control timer has failed and is sending power to the water valve when it shouldn't be. You'll need a complete model number to order the correct part which is located on a sticker under the lid down near the hinges. The part usually costs about $100 or so.
