I have an Axxis WFL2060 washing machine that is 6 years old 2 days ago it started to shake violenly in the spin cycle and at one point started to walk across the floor. I pushed it back into position and leveled it again. It was dead on level (i'm a finish carpenter with several decades of experience). It still shakes in the spin cycle and now it won't go through a complete wash. It fills, spins a little, fills, spins a little, fills etc. What do I need to do to fix it? I would prefer to repair it myself.
Optional Information: Make: Bosch Axxis Model: WFL 2060 Already Tried: I repositioned the washer and re-leveled it. I opened the back to see if there was anything out of place and there wasn't. I do have the dryer stacked on top
Hello, and thank you for using this service. I'll be helping you with your problem today.Try running the washer through the spin cycle with no clothes inside at all. Is the washer still shaking a lot or is it completely smooth?
I took all the clothes out of the washer and it spins perfectly
ok then that means the tub support and bearing are all good. Unfortunately that means that your shocks are just going out below the tub. Below is a link to the shocks you'll need to order and replace to fix the issue.CLICK HERE
I have ordered the shocks, I just have one more question. As I mentioned in my first question, when starting a new cycle the machine sounds like it's filling and then spins a short spin, fills, spins, fills, spins. how do we get it back to a regular cycle?
new information...my wife just tried a very light load but I was wrong it is not filling, it sounds like it'l filling and then a very brief spin, sounds like filling, very brief spin etc. There was no water coming into the machine and the laundry valve is still on. did the violent shaking do something to the controls?
it's very possible. If you're sure the washer has water getting to it, then it sounds like your main control board may be bad.
That sounds expensive. Where is it located on the machine and where would I get one?
That's the interface control board where you select all the options of the washer. Below is a link to the part.CLICK HERE
