Cancel the alarm.
Start a new program.
When it stops and beeps, open the door and look at the start light.
It will be flashing, count the number of flashes between pauses and let me know how many.
As machines are now a lot cheaper than they were 20, 30 years ago, quality has to be the thing that suffers.
Some machines are being disposed of when less than 2 years old.
I'm afraid we are heading toward a throw away society.
Thanks for your reply. Three flashes between pauses....
That's a heating fault.
Test the heater with a multimeter, if it's ok, it leaves the wiring in the door and the main control board as possible faults.
To access the heater, put towels on the floor.
Unplug and disconnect the appliance.
Be very careful the metal is razor sharp on this machine.
Lay the machine onto it's left side, on the towels.
Take the base panel off.
You now have full access to the heater.
Hope this helps
