Hi

.

If you restart a wash cycle the first thing it should do is drain the water out.

.

So restart the dishwasher and see if it drains the water out. If it doesn't then listen very carefully at the bottom and do you hear a humming noise?

.

Regards

We have done that several times. No discernable hum and the machine just churns the old water. What next?

Thanks

Hi

.

Ok if its just washing and not draining out then the first thing you need to do is check the drain hose. If it goes under a sink then you need to remove the drain hose and check it isn't blocked in there.

If that's fine then you need to scoop out the water inside the dishwasher then pull it out and remove the lower plastic cover and there you will see the drain pump.

Take this off and check there isn't anything stuck in there jamming the pump up. Make sure the pump impeller can turn ok. It should ping round in stages. If its stiff to turn then the drain pump needs to be replaced.

Check that out and see what you find and let me know.
