hi i have a WT46E386GB/02 siemens condenser dryer when it turns

hi i have a WT46E386GB/02 siemens condenser dryer when it turns on the display lights up for five or so seconds and then it turns off completely no display nothing if it is turned off for about an hour when turned on again it repeats the process. There is power to the control module. i would appreciate any help you can give thanks.

The most likely issue is the hi-limit switch has tripped. Some hi-limits are customer accessable

sorry, most are located internally. They are in place to shut the unit down if it over heats. verify the condenser is clean and its internal area is clear. locating the hi-limit (if not at the rear) can be rather involved.
