My washer typre WF02264 will not wash or spin. It will fill

Customer Question

My washer typre WF02264 will not wash or spin. It will fill and empty. The belt is OK. There is no visual sign or smell of burning. The bearings are fine. The drum is free to turn. Is there a hidden fuse somewhere? I am an electrical engineer and have fixed it before

Welcome, my name is Rob and I will be helping you with your problem today. If anything isn't clear, please just ask me.

The most likely cause of no drum movement will be a problem with the motor.

You need to get the motor out and check the wiring going to it. The wires can break off at the connector plug.
Then check the carbon brushes. These are the most likely cause of the problem.
If they are chipped, worn or damaged you will need to replace them.

If you need replacement parts, let me know and Ill ry to find them for you.

If you need more help, please just ask me.
In the meantime,

Can I ask you to take a moment and rate my response? Please use the smiley faces which you should now see. Please remember you are rating me personally, not the website or the problems you have had with this machine.
If you need to ask me anything after rating, please just follow the link in the welcome email
Thanks
