Hiya,

Sorry for the delay in getting to your question.

To change the door seal you need to take the front of the machine off.

Unplug the appliance.

Take the dispenser drawer out.

Take the bottom right hand screw out from the dispenser.

Open the door, take the retaining ring out of the door seal and take the door seal off of the front panel.

Take the plastic panel below the front panel off (there is one torx screw near the filter cap, take it out and slide the panel to the right).

Take the screws holding the front panel to the casing out (revealed when you take the plastic panel off).

You should now be able to take the front panel off of the machine.

You do need to slide the panel down a little.

Be careful as the wiring to the door lock is still attached.

Put the panel to the side of the machine or have someone hold it.

Pull the old seal off of the tub.

Take the spring out of the seal (holds the seal to the tub).

Fit the new seal to the tub.

Fit the spring into the seal to hold it to the tub.

Refit the front panel.

Fit the door seal to the front panel and fit the spring retaining ring in place.

Once you've reassembled, the job's done.

The screws in the machine are Torx screws so you will need to have suitable tools to remove and replace them.

Hope this helps

Thanks

Customer: replied 3 years ago.

I have taken front off, but what is the method of stretching seal over inner rim. It needs about 6 pairs of hands!. Can you advise a method?

Expert:  Techdesk replied 3 years ago.

Hiya,

You don't have to stretch it.

If it's the correct seal you simply fit it to the lip of the drum.

The last small bit will need a very slight stretch.

If you are having to stretch it a lot, it would suggest you are either putting it on the wrong place, or, it's the wrong seal.

Thanks
