Anthony F. :

are you running it with the VENT disconnected?

Anthony F. :

if the vent is restricted might act this way

Anthony F. :

run with no vent see if it stays o

Anthony F. :

on

JACUSTOMER-l7u4183y- :

this is a conenser type model. after trying cleaning with compressed air to clear the dust out, now when i turn the plug on the power to the fuse board trips out!

Anthony F. :

you did something wrong double check your work if its a condensor model you have to pull the chamber and clean it out dust in there will do the same thing as a bad vent if the dryer cannot breather it will shut down to prevent a fire

Anthony F. :

your thermostats are working just fine

Anthony F. :

you also need to make sure the drum bearing is not seizing remove the belt and turn by hand it should free wheel

Anthony F. :

if its tight its bad

Anthony F. :

and the motor is trippping out on a overcurrent this may also be why you cant keep the breaker on

JACUSTOMER-l7u4183y- :

thank you, i have double checked all filters and still no luck. when i switch the power on at the wall it just cuts out. it seams the be making earth some were?

Anthony F. :

can you turn the drum by hand?

JACUSTOMER-l7u4183y- :

yes

Anthony F. :

if it wasnt doing this before you took apart there has to be something you did

Anthony F. :

check wiring screws terminals you may have bent ...

Hi Let me ask you to try something for me.
Please remove the vent hose from the rear of the dryer.
Please let me know if you feel the air coming out as pretty forceful, in other words it doesn't feel like the hot air is restricted?
Thank you
Tech Michael
