Does the machine use a standard thermostat or a circuit board and sensors?
What is the model number of the appliance please?
I don't know but listening to the'expert' it was smaller than most
OK, if you let me know the model number I'll see what I can find on your machine.
Not sure you've had the best service from this company though.
British Gas would have charged £125 to repair it (parts and labour) and no charge if it couldn't be repaired.
I believe they also reduce the charge to £75 if you put the appliance on contract with them.
Had you known this, it would have cost you nothing to have them come in if it couldn't be repaired, then you would have been free to shop around for another machine.
Let me know the model number of your machine.
See if there's any listing for it.
(Proline is rather hard to deal with as it's a Comet brand name and with Comet gone, there's not much for their machines).
