Hi Stef

OK.

This is what should happen when you start a new cycle.

Water pumed away for about 1 mimute
this stops
Then the wayter comes in for about 1 minute.
This stops, then the pump should come on to wash.

Tell me exactly what happens. If there is an error on the screen or beeps, tell me how many and when

Thanks
Rob

Hi Stef

I am going to opt out of this, as I have never seen this fault.
If someone else has an idea they will respond to you

Thanks

Expert:  Techdesk replied 3 years ago.

Hiya,

From the description of the fault, it suggests a problem with the flowmeter.

Unplug the appliance.

Take the top and left side panel off.

On the large tank, near the bottom, you should see the reed switch and flow meter.

Unplug it and plug it back on several times.

Try the machine again.

If it works, it's been a poor connection.

If still the same, you'll need to replace the reed switch first.

If still no joy, it suggests a main board or wiring problem (in the flow meter circuit).

Check it out, see how it goes and get back to me if you need more help.

Hope this helps

Thanks

Customer: replied 3 years ago.

before i can do all this i need to find the installation manual to see how i remove the dishwasher from underneath the work top.

i have lost the manual,a nd on the bosch website there is only the instruction manual and no instalation manual.

Do you know where that can be found?

Customer: replied 3 years ago.

Bosch SMV50C00GB/01 is not listed

Expert:  Techdesk replied 3 years ago.

Hiya,

Click here for the part at Bosch

Click here for the same part at Espares

The Bosch part number is 611317 and this is what I've used to find the part at Espares.

Hopefully this is all that is wrong with the machine.

Hope this helps

Thanks

Customer: replied 3 years ago.

hi thanks for the info this exactly what i found on espares but i don't know where this is located in the diswasher.

The only thing which look like this in the dishwasher is located inside a big piece of plastic (water inlet)which take almost the all room on the left of the dishwasher.

section 4 of the spare part list (0401)

Expert:  Techdesk replied 3 years ago.

Hiya,

Yes, it's fitted into the large tank.

It's removable and replaceable.

Thanks

Expert:  Techdesk replied 3 years ago.

Hiya,

If you can't get it apart, then you could change the entire tank (Item 0401) as this should come with the flowmeter fitted.

Thanks

Customer: replied 3 years ago.

ok that makes a big difference, and i'm not even sure that it is the real faulty with the machine.

To call bosch and get a 12 month care will come at around the same price
