my Bosch WAQ243D0GB VarioPerfect washing machine is displaying

Jon :

Hello

Jon :

My name is XXXXX XXXXX I am an authorized Bosch service tech and I can help you today.

Jon :

The cl or CL error code is not and error code. It is just showing the child lock feature has been activated. And you can usually see this by a picture of a lock or a child has been displayed on the lcd or display of you rmachine.

Jon :

A picture of either the child or lock should also be on the control panel where the buttons are. You would need to hit that button down for about 5 seconds to deactivate the child lock out mode.

Jon :

Some machine will actually have a child lock button. If yours does, then hit and hold that button for about 5 seconds until the lock icon in the display goes out. Then try canceling the current cycle and see if the door opens and the control lets you set another cycle.

Jon :

Now if your machine doesn't have a child lock button nor can you make out what buttons to press on the control panel then please try this.

Jon :

First try hitting and holding the TEMP and OPTION buttons at the same time for 5 seconds then let go. If the lock in the display goes out great. Just try to cancel and open the door.

Jon :

If that doesn't work then try DRY and SPIN buttons. Again holding those two buttons at the same time for about 5 seconds and letting go.

Jon :

If neither of those options work for your machine, then there is either a lock button or there should be some kind of marking on the control board showing you what two buttons you will need to press to unlock the machine. Just hit and hold those two buttons again for about 5 seconds then let go.

Jon :

If the washer control still doesn't unlock the door and reset and allow you to reprogram the control and cycle, then you need a new main board or controller.

Jon :

Please get back to me here if you need more help or have more questions and I will help you more.

Jon :

And if you feel that I have helped to answer your questions please remember to rate my performance positively below this chat now with ok service or better rating.

Jon :

Thanks.

Jon :

Hello again.

Jon :

have you tried to get the child lock feature off the control?
