Hiya,

When you try clearing the code (not sure which procedure you are following) does it clear and then come back when you try the machine?

Can you post the E-Nr number of the appliance please?

I can check the procedure for clearing faults once I know the E-Nr.

Thanks

The proceedure I've got is turn the control knob to 6 o'clock press and hold the spin button move the control knob to 7 o'clock , keep spin button pressed for up to 15 secs ,release then turn knob to off then leave for 1 min

Expert:  Techdesk replied 3 years ago.

Hiya,

OK, the procedure I have only requires a 2 second wait.

Turn to off.

Turn to 6

Wait 2 seconds.

Press and hold the spin button.

Turn to 7.

Wait 2 seconds, release the spin button.

Turn to off.

The machine holds 5 codes so you should only need to clear 5 times.

However, if there's a further fault in the motor circuit, it will generate a new code each time you turn on.

This can be a faulty motor, faulty wiring and/or fault control.

Give it a try after checking the motor wiring and brushes again.

Let me know what happens.

When you manually turn the drum, do you get a clicking noise from the motor?

Thanks

Customer: replied 3 years ago.

tried the re set still no go

motor field and armature test ok

no clicking from brushes

Expert:  Techdesk replied 3 years ago.

Hiya,

OK, I think you are generating a new code each time you turn on, so it will never clear.

It's got to be wiring or control board if the motor tests fine.

Sorry.
