Hi heres how to do this:

If you need more help don't hesitate to ask me Im here!

Instructions

  1. 1

Unplug the refrigerator or shut off the power from the home's circuit breaker box. Remove any items from the storage bins in the freezer and refrigerator doors. Take off the grille at the bottom of the refrigerator.

  2. 2

Open the freezer door and find the plastic plugs that block the screw holes on the top of the non-hinged side of the freezer compartment. Pry the plugs out of their holes with the end of a flathead screwdriver.

  3. 3

Remove the screws and top hinge from the hinged side of the door. Depending on the design of your Hotpoint refrigerator, you may have to remove a plastic cover to access the hinge. Lift the freezer door straight up until it disengages from the middle hinge. Set the door aside until you are ready to reinstall it.

  4. 4

Loosen the screws and remove the middle hinge and set it aside. Lift the refrigerator door up to remove it from the bottom hinge.

  5. 5

Use the end of a flathead screwdriver to pry off the plastic caps that cover the holes on the non-hinged side of the refrigerator unit. Remove the bottom hinge and move it to the other side of the refrigerator, then tighten the mounting screws.

  6. 6

Remove the screws and handle from the freezer door. Switch the handle to the other side of the door and tighten the screws. Repeat this process to move the refrigerator door handle.

  7. 7

Lift the refrigerator door and slide it onto the peg on the bottom hinge. Slide the middle hinge over the door and tighten the screws to secure it to the refrigerator unit. Lift the freezer door and place it on the middle hinge. Place the top hinge over the door and tighten the mounting screws.

  8. 8

Insert the plastic plugs into the open screw holes on the non-hinged side of the refrigerator. Reinstall the grille and plug the refrigerator back in, or turn on the circuit breaker switch, to restore power to the unit.
