Hiya,

Is the water bottle at the top of the machine or the bottom?

Thanks

Customer: replied 3 years ago.

At the bottom

Expert:  Techdesk replied 3 years ago.

Hiya,

Thanks for that.

Take the bottle out and check the valve assembly on the bottle.

Is it complete?

Does the centre push in a little when you push it?

.

If it does, look in where the bottle goes.

You'll see another valve.

Use a long screwdriver, push in the centre a little, does water pour out?

.

Thanks

Customer: replied 3 years ago.

Hi

The valve pushes in on the water tank and no water comes out when I push a screw driver into the other valve.

Thanks

Expert:  Techdesk replied 3 years ago.

Hiya,

OK, thanks for that.

You'll need to take the top and side panel off of the machine to check the float and microswitch.

(If you post the model number of the machine I can check on whether the side panel comes off or not).

.

Once you get to the float/switch.

If the float is raised and stuck, simply free it off.

If the float isn't raised, try activating the switch a couple of times, in case it's stuck.

.

If both are ok, you need to test the switch first.

If that's ok, it's pointing to a control fault.

.

Let me know what you find.

Thanks

Ok thanks

Hiya,

The exploded view of the appliance shows removable side panels.

.

Thanks

Hiya

What does the float switch look like?

Thanks.

Expert:  Techdesk replied 3 years ago.

Hiya,

It's a microswitch and a polysytrene float that comes up to activate it.

Look around the area above where the bottle goes in, toward the rear.

Thanks
